ABOUT THE 2020 FOUNDATION
Seeing well is a necessity for all people. Thirty years ago, we saw that not all members of our community were receiving the eye care that they needed. That’s why we created the 20/20 Vision Foundation to provide and promote eye health for those who may not have access to affordable care.
Through the Foundation, we offer pro bono in-office exams, mobile unit exams, and free eyeglasses for those who need them. We work with local school districts to provide pro bono in-office exams, and partner with advocacy agencies such as SafeHome and Health Partnership as well.
Since starting the Foundation, we’ve had the opportunity to provide lenses and exams for the rescue mission, at outreach events, inner-city community events, local schools, as well as pro bono in-office visits. We are proud of the contributions to our community and extremely grateful to all those involved.
Our most recent event at Kansas City Rescue Mission — 30 of our neighbors were helped with eye exams and glasses.
