NPBI

As an enhanced safety procedure, the offices of Drs. Hawks, Besler, Rogers & Stoppel, have recently installed a new air filtration system called Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI). The NPBI technology safely cleans the air inside buildings by using an electronic charge to create a plasma field filled with ions. These ions help to collect fine particles, making them easy to filter from the air. NPBI systems also kill pathogens by robbing them of their life-sustaining hydrogen particles.

In our offices we wanted to destroy potentially infectious agents safely, efficiently, quickly, and without producing harmful byproducts. In the fight against COVID-19, and to keep our patients and staff safe, the NPBI filtration system was a good fit. The lab testing showed the NPBI system could inactivate 99.4% of the viral particles on a stagnant surface in 30 minutes. (Full study: covid_19testing_a1_1_06-04-20.pdf)

The NPBI system constantly generates an electronic charge which in turn produces a high concentration of positively and negatively charged ions which cleans the air. In addition to neutralizing SARVS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), the system eliminates fungi, molds, allergens including black mold, mildew, pollen, and dust mites, and bacteria and viruses like E. coli, MRSA, H1N1, C. diff, norovirus and others.
